Azad’s Big Roar in Jaunpur: “The Fight for Education, Reservation and Dignity Has Begun”

Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh:
Chandra Shekhar Azad addressed a massive public gathering in Jaunpur under the banner of the Azad Samaj Party during the “Samvidhan Bachao Adhikar Sammelan.” In his speech, he strongly raised issues related to education, reservation, employment, women’s safety, and social justice.

Azad said he had come to become the voice of “his mothers, sisters, and brothers” and promised to fight for the rights of marginalized communities. He spoke about implementing an 8-hour duty system for police personnel and highlighted the concerns of Shiksha Mitras, employment assistants, and candidates waiting for Anganwadi recruitment.

Focus on Education Over Free Rations

He emphasized that his politics would focus on quality education rather than short-term relief. “We will not just give 2 kilos of ration; we will ensure your children receive quality education so they can secure jobs and support their families,” he said.

He also announced that a new education policy would be implemented and proposed that children of everyone—from the Chief Minister to common citizens—should study in government schools to improve the system.

Reservation and Community Representation

Raising questions on reservation, Azad said that benefits are extended to various sections of society, so opposition to reservation for Dalits and backward classes is unjustified. He also suggested the formation of regiments representing different communities, arguing for equal recognition.

Women’s Safety and Law & Order

On the issue of women’s security, he stated that if his party forms the government, no one would dare to harm women or daughters. He urged people to respond to lawlessness through democratic means, especially by voting.

Criticism of the Government

Azad accused the state government of increasing financial burdens on citizens and alleged that every individual in Uttar Pradesh is carrying a heavy debt load. He also criticized the government over the alleged vandalism of the statue of Ahilyabai Holkar and other incidents, questioning administrative accountability.

Political Attack and Upcoming Event

He announced that on March 15, the Azad Samaj Party’s program in Barabanki would not just be a rally but a large public gathering described as a “mela.” During his speech, he also launched sharp political attacks on rival parties and vowed to strongly counter opposition.

Emotional Appeal to Youth

The speech turned emotional at times, as Azad appealed to the youth for support in uplifting society. He asked the crowd whether they would stand with him and carry forward the struggles of great social reformers. He also called upon supporters to reach every Bahujan household and mobilize people for democratic change.

Through this address in Jaunpur, Chandra Shekhar Azad outlined his party’s position on education reforms, reservation policies, employment, women’s safety, and social equality, while energizing supporters ahead of upcoming political events.
