CM Yogi Adityanath to Visit Japan, Maglev Train to Be Key Highlight

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, will be on an official visit to Japan on February 25 and 26. During the two-day visit, he is scheduled to participate in several governmental and industrial programs aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.

A major highlight of the visit will be his observation of Japan’s advanced Maglev (Magnetic Levitation) train technology. The Maglev train operates using magnetic forces that allow it to float above the tracks, significantly reducing friction and enabling extremely high speeds. The Chief Minister is expected to study the technical features and operational system of this cutting-edge transportation technology. The visit is seen as an opportunity to explore possibilities for modernizing transport infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh.

During his stay, the Chief Minister will also meet industry leaders and government representatives to discuss investment opportunities in Uttar Pradesh. Key areas of focus are likely to include infrastructure development, high-tech industries, manufacturing, and technological collaboration. The state government aims to attract global investment and create new employment opportunities through such international engagements.

The visit is considered an important step toward enhancing economic ties and technological partnerships, while promoting Uttar Pradesh as a competitive destination for global investors.
