Congress to Lay Siege to Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow Today; Protest Scheduled at 11 AM

Lucknow: The Indian National Congress will stage a protest and lay siege to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in Lucknow today. The party has announced that the demonstration will begin at 11:00 AM.

The protest will be led by Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai. Senior party leader Avinash Pandey, MLA Aradhana Mishra, and MLA Virendra Chaudhary, along with a large number of party workers, are expected to participate.

According to party leaders, the protest is being organized over issues related to state government policies, law and order, and other public concerns. The Congress has stated that the objective of the demonstration is to raise the voice of the people inside the Assembly.

In view of the protest, the administration has tightened security arrangements in and around the Assembly premises. Additional police forces have been deployed, and traffic diversions may be implemented if necessary.

Party leadership has appealed to workers to maintain peace and follow democratic means during the protest. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation.

The demonstration is expected to create political momentum in the state and may have wider implications in the coming days.
