The Adani Group has announced a major initiative to modernize airports across India and enhance the overall travel experience for passengers. The company plans to invest nearly 15 billion US dollars over the next five years to expand and upgrade several key airports in the country.
This expansion focuses on cities where passenger traffic has been rising rapidly. Airports in Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, and Jaipur are among those included in the development plan. The company aims to equip these airports with world-class, modern facilities by 2030.
According to Adani Group, the sharp increase in air travel and tourism has created a strong need for large-scale infrastructure improvements. New terminals, runway expansions, smarter security systems, and improved passenger amenities are part of this project.
The government has stated that private sector investment will help strengthen India’s aviation industry and generate new employment opportunities. Experts believe that in the coming years, India’s airports will become part of one of the fastest-growing aviation networks in Asia.
