Varanasi is set to witness an important visit today as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrives in the city to participate in key environmental and religious programs. The visit is being seen as significant for both ecological development and spiritual engagement in the holy city.

According to the official schedule, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach the Circuit House in Varanasi at around 11:00 AM, where he will be welcomed by administrative officials and public representatives. Soon after, he will inaugurate a major “Urban Forest” initiative aimed at increasing green cover, improving air quality, and promoting environmental sustainability in the city.

One of the highlights of the program is a large-scale plantation drive in which nearly 300,000 saplings will be planted within just one hour. This initiative is being considered a major step toward making Varanasi greener and more environmentally resilient.

During his visit, the Chief Minister will also offer prayers at some of the city’s most revered religious sites. He will first visit the Kal Bhairav Temple to perform rituals and seek blessings. After that, he will proceed to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, where he will offer prayers for the prosperity, peace, and well-being of the state and its people.

Authorities have made comprehensive security and administrative arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit. Police and local officials are closely monitoring the situation to ensure that all events are conducted smoothly and safely.

The visit is expected to strengthen environmental awareness and further enhance the spiritual and cultural significance of Varanasi, one of India’s most sacred cities.
