During a public program held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a strong attack on the Samajwadi Party. The Chief Minister said that the electricity situation in Uttar Pradesh was once so poor that people were forced to dry clothes on electricity wires. He claimed that the current government has brought major improvements in electricity supply, roads, law and order, and overall development across the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that Uttar Pradesh has completely transformed over the past few years. He said that power cuts were once a common problem in the state. Villages and small towns used to face long hours without electricity, forcing people to live in darkness while industries and businesses suffered heavy losses. According to the Chief Minister, the present government has worked on a large scale to strengthen the electricity system.
He further said that Uttar Pradesh is now among the states where electricity supply has significantly improved. According to him, there were massive power cuts even during festivals in earlier governments, but now better electricity supply is being ensured from villages to cities. He added that the government focused on replacing transformers, laying new power lines, and increasing electricity production capacity.
During the event, the Chief Minister targeted the Samajwadi Party and alleged that development projects during earlier governments remained limited to paperwork. He said that the current government has carried out development work in all districts without discrimination. He claimed that Prayagraj and other parts of Uttar Pradesh have witnessed rapid growth in roads, medical colleges, expressways, and infrastructure projects.
CM Yogi also highlighted his government’s achievements in maintaining law and order. He said that crime and mafia influence once dominated the state, but strict action is now being taken against criminals. Speaking about development work in Prayagraj, the Chief Minister said that road widening, flyovers, tourism projects, and religious site development are progressing rapidly in the city. He also mentioned preparations for the upcoming Maha Kumbh and said the government is strengthening arrangements on a large scale to ensure convenience for devotees visiting the religious event.
He further said that Uttar Pradesh is no longer just a political center but is becoming a model of development. The Chief Minister claimed that the state government is continuously taking decisions in the interest of farmers, youth, women, and poor families. He added that there has been major improvement in basic facilities such as electricity, water, roads, and security compared to previous years.
During the program, CM Yogi also appealed to party workers and the public to spread awareness about government schemes in villages and rural areas. He said that the government’s aim is to make Uttar Pradesh one of the strongest and most developed states in the country.
