CM Yogi Invited for Char Dham Yatra in Lucknow, Pilgrimage to Begin from April 19

Lucknow: The Chairman and officials of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow and formally invited him to participate in the upcoming Char Dham Yatra. During the meeting, the committee also briefed the Chief Minister about the preparations and schedule of the pilgrimage.

The Chairman of the temple committee presented the official invitation letter and requested the Chief Minister to take part in the sacred journey. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his gratitude for the invitation and extended his best wishes for the successful conduct of the yatra. He stated that the Char Dham Yatra is deeply connected with the faith of millions of devotees and plays an important role in promoting religious tourism.

According to the temple committee, the Char Dham Yatra will begin on April 19 this year. The gates of Kedarnath Dham will open for devotees on April 22, followed by the opening of Badrinath Dham on April 23. A large number of devotees from across India and abroad are expected to participate in the pilgrimage.

The Char Dham Yatra includes visits to four sacred shrines in Uttarakhand—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Every year, millions of pilgrims undertake this spiritual journey, which also contributes significantly to tourism and the local economy.

The administration and the temple committee are making special arrangements to ensure the safety, convenience, and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage this year.
