
Lucknow: On the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram, the party has given a call for “Chalo Lucknow.” A large gathering of BSP workers and supporters is being prepared in the state capital Lucknow on March 15.
According to party sources, the main program will be organized at the Kanshi Ram memorial site located on Purani Jail Road in Lucknow. The event is expected to witness participation from thousands of workers and supporters coming from various divisions across Uttar Pradesh. The BSP sees this gathering as an important opportunity to strengthen the organization and promote the ideology of the Bahujan movement.
Party leaders say that Kanshi Ram’s life, struggle, and vision continue to inspire millions of people across the country. On this occasion, the program will highlight the messages of social justice, equality, and empowerment of marginalized communities.
Sources indicate that BSP chief Mayawati may also address the gathering in Lucknow. If she participates, the event is expected to become even more significant for party workers and supporters. There is already considerable enthusiasm among the cadre regarding her possible presence.
Along with Lucknow, special programs will also be organized in Noida to mark Kanshi Ram’s birth anniversary, where party workers will remember his ideas and contributions to social and political movements.

Meanwhile, BSP National Coordinator Akash Anand is scheduled to address a rally in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Party leaders have stated that Kanshi Ram’s birth anniversary will be observed across the country with the message of Bahujan unity, social justice, and equal opportunities.
The BSP believes that Kanshi Ram’s ideology continues to guide and motivate people belonging to marginalized and underrepresented sections of society, and the celebrations aim to carry his vision forward to the younger generation.
