PM Modi Addresses Indian Community in Malaysia, Calls Them a Strong Bridge Between Two Nations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian community in Malaysia during his official visit, highlighting the deep historical, cultural, and economic ties between India and Malaysia. In his speech, he praised the role of the Indian diaspora in strengthening relations between the two countries.

Prime Minister Modi said that the Indian community in Malaysia serves as a strong and living bridge connecting India and Malaysia. He noted that Indian culture, languages, music, food, and traditions are deeply rooted in Malaysian society, creating a natural bond between the people of both nations.

During his address, the Prime Minister emphasized that India–Malaysia relations are not limited to diplomacy alone but are built on mutual trust, respect, and shared values. He added that India is progressing rapidly in the fields of economy and technology, and in the coming years, cooperation between the two countries in trade, digital technology, and investment is expected to grow further.

PM Modi described overseas Indians as an important part of India’s development journey and said that the diaspora plays a significant role in strengthening India’s global image. He encouraged young members of the community to stay connected with their roots, take pride in their heritage, and continue contributing to stronger friendship between India and Malaysia.

The Prime Minister’s address is being seen as a positive step toward giving new momentum to India–Malaysia relations. His remarks clearly reflected India’s commitment to deepening cultural, economic, and strategic partnerships with Malaysia in the future.
